Who are we?

The Bookyard is a specialist bookseller focused on rare, out-of-print, and limited-edition titles in architecture, design, urbanism, and the built environment.

Who is behind the store?

Our store is a small, independent operation based in Thailand, run by Thai architect and a private architectural book collector, Perm Sridurongkatum. All books of The Bookyard collection are carefully selected and curated by himself. 

Condition grading

We use plain language to describe condition — no inflated grades. Our standards:

• Fine / As New — No visible wear. Looks unread.
• Very Good — Light signs of handling, no damage to text or plates. May have minor shelf wear.
• Good — Honest wear consistent with age and use. Text and images fully intact. May have inscriptions, stamps, or tanning.
• Acceptable / Fair — Heavier wear, possible repair, but complete and readable. Priced accordingly.

We photograph condition issues. If the listing photo does not show something clearly, ask us — we will send additional images before you commit.

Packaging and international shipping

We carefully pack the book and ship worldwide from Thailand with DHL and declare items accurately on customs forms. Import duties are the buyer's responsibility, and we are happy to advise on likely customs requirements for your country before you order.
